The transformation of becoming more like Jesus is called "sanctification."
Part of this process is choosing each day to walk the path He would have us walk. As we journey, we are to spend time in the Bible and in prayer, to learn more about Him and grow in our faith, to gather with fellow believers, and to get involved in service to others. Look around. Where do you see God working? Join Him!
It is our prayer at FCCM that each attender who spends one hour listening to the message on Sunday mornings would also spend at least one hour in personal Bible study, one hour in Biblical community with fellow believers (small group/group Bible study), and one hour in service to the local church (volunteering) each week.

Adult Education
Sunday Mornings
8:30 - Class is in Room 2 with teacher Mark Black & others.
10:00 - Seasoned Seniors class is in the Fellowship Hall with teacher Rich Burton.
10:00 - Family Connections class is in Room 28 with leaders Tom Chain & Rob Miller.

Small Groups & Bible Studies
In the book of Acts, we see the early church doing life together in homes and in the temple courts. These early small groups worshiped together, ate meals together, took communion together, prayed together, learned together, bore each other's burdens together, and spread the Gospel together. It was a way of life.
Today, we live in an increasingly disconnected world. However, God never intended for us live the Christian life apart from others. Did you know that there are 59 "one another" statements in the New Testament? Scripture tells us to "love one another," "serve one another," "carry one another's burdens," "admonish one another," "encourage one another," and to "offer hospitality to one another." Biblical community is vital to our faith journey.
The goal of our small groups and Bible studies is to help people engage in relationships that help them become more like Jesus. Small groups and Bible studies foster a loving, personal environment where members can do life together. We have a variety of small groups and group Bible studies. Young Adults, college-age to about age 30
Our young adult ministry (YAM) meets on Wednesdays beginning at 5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall for a meal, lesson, and hangout time. This group also gets together for various activities such as hiking, bonfires, and more. Call the church office (330.863.1303) to talk to Nathan Beard, our YA/Sports minister.
Senior Adults, aged 55+
The FCCM Adult Ministry is especially designed to minister to adults who are culturally considered seniors – specifically those seniors of the church and the community. The purpose of the church is to Go and Make Disciples. This never stops in our journey of life. Even as seniors, we strive to take as many people as possible with us to heaven whether that be our children, grandchildren, friends, or loved ones.
Because we are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind, we will seek ways to serve God and one another in all three areas. There are so many activities and acts of kindness that seniors can do for one another and other age groups within the church and the community. The 55+ Adult Ministry provides such opportunities. This can be accomplished by teaching the word through Bible studies, encouraging fellowship through interactive activities, and helping to minister to one another through service projects. Seniors have much to give to FCCM and the community.

Have you heard the saying, "Many hands make light work"? Well, at First Christian Church of Malvern, it takes many hands getting involved in order to provide worship each week, to reach out to the community, and to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this world.
